Who we are looking for We are seeking a Germany-focused Business Developer International to support our Biodiversity Business Development Team.


💻🐝 What You Will Do:

  • Identify and research new business opportunities and target markets in Germany.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's presence in the German market and increase market share.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key German clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product development, etc.) to create and implement effective strategies for growth in the German market.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities within Germany to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events in Germany to represent the company and generate leads.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of German business opportunities to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Negotiate and close deals with German clients while ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and compliance with relevant regulations.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and German, both written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is a plus (ES or FR).
  • Strong networking abilities and relationship-building skills with German clients, partners, and industry professionals.
  • Solid understanding of the German market dynamics and trends, as well as cultural and regulatory differences.
  • Proven ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the German market.
  • Experience with sales techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate German market data and competitors' strategies, providing actionable insights for the company.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills to effectively represent the company at German events and meetings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Pipedrive/Salesforce, and other relevant business software applications.
